Anna Ludvik, Lucy’s Project
Trigger Warning!
This episode explores themes of domestic and family abuse, animal abuse and stillbirth.
In this episode, we’re joined by Anna Ludvik, the Founder of Lucy’s Project. After the birth of her daughter Lucy, who was sadly born sleeping, Anna felt a strong desire to do something in her daughter’s name.
Anna had always been an advocate for animals and her work brought her to the intersection of animal abuse and family violence.
Lucy’s Project was born.
In this episode, you’ll learn about:
- How Anna used her personal pain to create something wonderful
- The importance of bringing people together and then getting out of their way
- What an organisation with people who are driven by their mission looks like
- The value of hope
- How to avoid burn out
Em & Anna also discussed how valuable it is to realise that despite having these unfortunate circumstances, there is a way to continue to experience joy in our lives.
